Our story
Founder Poorvi Patodia created Biena while searching for nutritious snacks for her family. She drew inspiration from the chickpea, "the superfood ingredient of my childhood," and began experimenting with roasting them in her kitchen until she achieved "the perfect light, crispy crunch" with plant based protein and real food ingredients. The brand began as a kitchen project focused on roasted chickpeas and has since expanded to include Tasty Thins Veggie Crisps and Crispy Edamame.
